Korean Fashion

In recent years, fashion in South Korea has greatly evolved, due to inspiration from the West. Factors that have influenced the changes in South Korea fashion are culture, wealth and social media. The country's developing economy has also had a profound effect on fashion. Currently, South Korea maintains a unique fashion style that has become an acknowledged influence in worldwide trends South Korea's style has become more expressive, reflecting a sense of individually, which is absent from the style of its northen counterpart, South Korea.

The Korean Wave (the spread of appreciation for South Korea Culture) is beginning to affect the fashion world. Korean celebrities are starting to have a real influence in fashion. For example, pop stars from Korea have recently been making appearances in places like New York. It is projected about the author, eun hong, that this fashion phenomenon will soon be worldwide.

Hanbok

Hanbok (South Korea) or Joseon-ot (North Korea) is the traditional Korean dress. It is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. Although the term literally mans 'Korean clothing' , hanbok today often refers specifically to clothing of the Joseon period and is worn as semi-formal or formal wear during traditional festivals and celebrations.

Throughout history, Korea had a dual clothing tradition in which hanbok today in which rulers and aristocrats adopted different kind of mixed foreign influenced indigenous styles while commoners continued to use a distinct style of indigenous clothing that today is known as Hanbok.

In 1996, the South Korean ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism made 'Hanbok Day' to encourage South Korean citizens to wear Hanbok.

Airport Fashion Korean

Airport fashion is usually a very serious business for Korean celebrities. The airport is the place to be seen looking your absolute best while wearing the latest fashion trends. However, idols don't always take the airport fashion craze very seriously.

Super Junior

For their 8th anniversary, Super Junior proved once again that they are unbelievably cool when they came to the airport dressed in cosplay. They've done this on two separate occasions, dressing in different costumes each times.

BTOB Lee Chang Sub

This is another case where the punishment for losing a game ended in very creative airport fashion.

Idol Korean also used aiport fashion to show their fashion to their fans. They focus their fashion according to the latest trends.

Park Bom (2ne1)

Tiffany (SNSD)

Jessica Jung

They always used airport as their places to show their fashion. The fans would like to take pictures of their favourite idols and post to SNS. In korean they called social media as SNS like Instagram, Twitter, UFO and Weibo.

this is Hanbok catwalk

In my opinion Korean have their own fashion that give inspiration to the people around the world. And I like their traditional dress 'Hanbok'. I would like to wear Hanbok dress when I go to Korea one day.
